BMW Zagato Coupé

BMW Zagato Coupé

BMW unveiled the BMW Zagato Coupé at the prestigious Villa d’Este Concours in Italy late in May.

The BMW Zagato Coupé is a hand built once off vehicle built with the aid of the Italian coach builder Zagato and there are no signs that it will make it into production.

The BMW Zagato Coupé is registered for road use and has already been put through its paces at the BMW test track.

Some of the prominent features of the BMW Zagato Coupé are the BMW radiator grille (with countless small matt Zagato “z” letters to make up the kidney grille), double-bubble roof, and the transparent dark tint rear boot lid.

Other features which make the car stand out are the pair of air intakes integrated into the bonnet which may indicate the presence of a high-performance engine beneath, the prominent rear bumper which feeds downwards into a large diffuser, matt finish exhaust tailpipes positioned towards the outer edges of the rear, 19-inch light-alloy wheels in classically sporty five-spoke design, and the exclusive exterior paint finish Rosso Vivace which brings the surfaces and forms of the BMW Zagato Coupé to life.
