KTM X-Bow RR Laps The Nordschleife at the Nürburgring In 7:25.72 Minutes

The KTM X-Bow RR managed to lap the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring in a time of 7:25.72 minutes, which directly pits it against the Ferrari Enzo which has a lap time of 7:25.7 minutes. Up to this time the fastest lap time, was 8:10 minutes set by the KTM X-Bow Club Sport in 2009.

The fastest recorder time on the Nordschleife is held by the Radical SR8 LM driven by Michael Vergers with a lap time of 6:48 minutes, in 2009.

Christophe Haase, who in 2008 won the GT4 European Championship in the KTM X-BOW GT and is now in the service of Audi was the one chosen to drive the car. The KTM X-BOW RR was powered by the tried and tested 2.0 liter four-cylinder TFSI engine from Audi.

Christophe Haase,  was able to set the time of 7:25.72 minutes just after two laps.

KTM’s Director of Sales, Hubert Trunkenpolz, was one of the first to offer his congratulations. “My personal respect for registering this lap time. Anyone who has driven on the Nordschleife knows exactly what it means to clock a time under 7:30 minutes. I am proud of the team and naturally also of our KTM X-BOW RR. That shows once again the enormous potential of our car! I would like to thank Michelin for the tire material and naturally also Audi who not only gave us a perfect engine but also in a very friendly gesture, also the services of Christopher as the driver.”
