Honda Brio On Its Way To South Africa

Honda Brio On Its Way To South Africa

We wrote earlier this month about the pending arrival of the Honda Brio. Well, the first consignment of 390 Honda Brio’s destined for South Africa departed the Indian port of Mumbai aboard the M.V. Grand Orion. A total of roughly 1600 Honda Brio’s will be shipped to South Africa and other SADC countries by March 2013.

The shipment of the vehicles means that the vehicles will be on the dealer floor this coming December.

The Honda Brio manufactured at Honda’s Indian manufacturing plant in Greater Noida will also be concentrating on export to other SADC countries (Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius and Seychelles).

The Honda Brio has been on sale since September 2011 and thus far over 25000 units have been sold in India.
