Top Gear Completes World Record Double Loop-the-Loop

This past weekend the crew at Top Gear managed to do the first double loop-the-loop on four wheels at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, South Africa.

The double loop-the-loop labelled the “Deadly 720” was performed using a single seater buggy featuring an accelerator lock set to keep the speed between 24mph (39kph) and 26 mph (42kph), and a dashboard fitted with a large shift light that goes from red to green when the buggy is at sufficient speed to complete the loop.
