BMW will be unveiling the BMW Concept M135i alongside the M Performace cars at the Geneva Motor Show this week on the 6th of March. The M Performance line is a new line of cars that slots between the standard BMW models and M cars such as the BMW M3.
The BMW Concept M135i is the first 3 door we have seen on the new second generation F20 1-Series. According to the press release “Compared with the silhouette of the five-door BMW 1 Series, the three-door BMW Concept M135i makes an even more sporting and elegant statement.”
The M135i has a twin turbocharged straight six-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 224kW and is kitted with some of the following features; an M sport braking system, 18-inch M light alloys with a double spoke design, and large air intakes designed to match the cooling requirement of the powerful engine, ancillary components and large brakes.
If the performance and fun factor of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe are anything to go by then we are in for a thrill.
